Yes, the initial outlay is more expensive, but not by much. The other thing your missing is the noise. Some large inverters make noise apparently, the micro ones do not. This was one of the main draw cards that pushed me to go this way.
I was under the impression Pegasus was a cypress / greek company product, where the founder was from Israel (special tech military group). The founder made it outside of Israel so they didn't need to abide by their rules and laws.
However it does have a check to not target Israeli phone numbers.
