I mean, it's not the first time part of the white house has been torn down or renovated. What I personally dislike about this isn't that they're changing the white house. It's that they're changing the white house to accomodate Trumps constant need to be the center of attention.
It'd be silly to keep the white house as built (Or reconstructed) in 1817, since it's actually being used, and is very much a workplace, but this renovation is just Trump needing somewhere in-house to host lavish dinner parties to be the center of attention.
So yes, I am absolutely okay with destruction when it suits my esthetic.
Or the lack of any transparency or planning.... Anyone else try to do this s*** especially democratic the Republicans would be up in arms.... No individual should be able to unilaterally make these changes that's not what the president's job is
Trump building a ballroom no skirting the bureaucracy is one the lest bad things he has done. I‘m actually surprised he hasn’t started construction of a much more monumental building in Washington or elsewhere. Trump loves building and autocrats love to build monuments to their ego.

always call it that. if enough people do that it'll be the actual name stated on Wikipedia.
like ACA was informally called Obamacare, but now calling it Obamacare is the proper term

Is this "AI"? I need to know if it's ok to like. \s
brown567@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 327d
AI is against the community's rules, so it's a good question
Pyr_Pressure@lemmy.ca · 0 pts · 327d
Wait, really? Why? What's the difference between using AI for a photo like this and using Photoshop?
DanVctr@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 327d
To me it looks like someone took a real picture of the White House and then did a generative fill (AI) on the trees to get the fantasy project

Right in the trumper!
Terrorists have placed an explosive device down a narrow but exposed Epstein corridor & blew up all the balls in the room.
