Gen-X reporting in. Playing two shows in a Ministry tribute band this weekend. If anyone’s in this meme and the Eugene or Portland area come check it out.
Sorry for the shameless self promotion. I don’t have any other socials. Haha
Catchin up on old memes and just saw this. I'm not in the area, but you should totally post to !gothindustrial@lemmy.world next time your Ministry tribute band plays!
Oi! I'll have you know I'm last of the millennials and don't have tinnitus yet because I already wore hearing protection to deal with regular busy environment sounds.
Loudest concert I ever attended. Gary Numan and Front Line Assembly. Even with the hearing protection I bring to concerts it was unbelievable. My tinnitus is from other stupid things, like guns without hearing protection.
He's great. Awesome setlist, too. They ended the show with stuff from Obsolete and "Lynchpin." Some of the openers were good, too, like Byzantine. Nice mix of prog metal.
The set list was everything I wanted after not seeing them for a decade or so. Happy for Dino he’s able to get out there and do that material live again.
Fun story. I love industrial but hate the fashion. One of my moments was seeing Haujobb live and Daniel Myer pointing at me because in a room full of black I was wearing bright clothes and a red and blue bucket hat. The bartender also loved me because I was the only one tipping on my drinks lol.

Movie then TV. That is the order to watch
MehBlah@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 309d
Some of the funniest office shit was when he hooked up with another energy vampire.
teft@piefed.social · 17 pts · 309d
Agreed. These two have some of the best scenes.
The only one better on that show is Jackie Daytona, Human Bartender.

Side Note: Matt Berry's albums are really good. His latest is straight up 60's psychedelia.

Sounds awesome, I'd go if I was in the area. I did at least get to see Ministry's "squirrely years" tour this summer with TKK and Die Krupps.
vulgarcynic@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 308d
That was a great tour! I hadn’t seen Die Krupps despite being a fan since high school. Was awesome to catch them as well.
zod000@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 308d
Same here, it was great to finally see them.
yakko@feddit.uk · 2 pts · 308d
That looks dope! I wish I had a dimension door to Portland. For this, but also Powell's. Nothing like it in this country.
vulgarcynic@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 308d
You would have caught most of us there before the show likely as well. Just saw Cory Doctorow on his tour there last week! Such an awesome shop.

Are you blind?

Very possibly.

If anything it is a bi flag.
All the love to you anyways.
teft@piefed.social · 3 pts · 309d
If anything it’s the trans flag. Bi flag is purple with blue and red. Trans flag is light pink, light blue, and white.

But other than that, spot on.
Leather@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 309d
The meme says GenX - silly millennial, when you don't expect to live past 24 hearing protection is unnecessary.
HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 309d
I got my tinnitus the fun way, my drummer was having a bad day the same day I had a cold. Haven't heard silence in 30 years
