What's this from?

teft@piefed.social · 40 pts · 309d (4 replies)

What we do in the shadows (tv show, not movie).

Colin is an energy vampire.

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 309d

Movie then TV. That is the order to watch

MehBlah@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 309d (2 replies)

Some of the funniest office shit was when he hooked up with another energy vampire.

teft@piefed.social · 17 pts · 309d (1 reply)

Agreed. These two have some of the best scenes.

The only one better on that show is Jackie Daytona, Human Bartender.

HubertManne@piefed.social · 3 pts · 308d

I love every time someone says. Wait! Are you feeding on me?

workerONE@lemmy.world · 51 pts · 309d (4 replies)

This looks like the guy with a big yellow Hummer who got his baseball cards stolen on Breaking Bad, or was it Better call saul

coolman@lemmy.world · 27 pts · 309d (3 replies)

Same actor! The picture in the post is from What We Do in the Shadows. He was also Nate on The Office

whotookkarl@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 15 pts · 308d (1 reply)

Mark Proksch, he was great in Dream Corp LLC too

reptar@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 308d

Forgot about Dream Corp. I think I should rewatch.

swampdownloader@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 0 pts · 308d

Also basically the same persona in GTA V

cuboc@lemmy.world · 27 pts · 309d (3 replies)

Accurate.

Now I want to rewatch What we Do in the Shadows.

JoMiran@lemmy.ml · 4 pts · 308d

Side Note: Matt Berry's albums are really good. His latest is straight up 60's psychedelia.

dejected_warp_core@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 308d

Highly recommended. It's a really funny show and does not overstay its welcome.

reptar@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 308d

Baby Colin Robinson about broke me

hopesdead@startrek.website · 25 pts · 309d

No one was paying attention to you, Collin Robinson.

ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml · 18 pts · 309d

This guy looks like he knows a thing or two about pies

Shortstack@reddthat.com · 18 pts · 309d

Hey I resemble that meme, minus the engineering degree

Why must you hurt me so?

Track_Shovel@slrpnk.net · 6 pts · 308d

The internet is for conveying digital gunshots, and that's about it. don't hate the player, hate the game

I have quite literally pulled into Whole Foods listening to that album lmao.

vulgarcynic@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 308d (7 replies)

Gen-X reporting in. Playing two shows in a Ministry tribute band this weekend. If anyone’s in this meme and the Eugene or Portland area come check it out.

Sorry for the shameless self promotion. I don’t have any other socials. Haha

zod000@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 308d (2 replies)

Sounds awesome, I'd go if I was in the area. I did at least get to see Ministry's "squirrely years" tour this summer with TKK and Die Krupps.

vulgarcynic@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 308d (1 reply)

That was a great tour! I hadn’t seen Die Krupps despite being a fan since high school. Was awesome to catch them as well.

zod000@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 308d

Same here, it was great to finally see them.

yakko@feddit.uk · 2 pts · 308d (1 reply)

That looks dope! I wish I had a dimension door to Portland. For this, but also Powell's. Nothing like it in this country.

vulgarcynic@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 308d

You would have caught most of us there before the show likely as well. Just saw Cory Doctorow on his tour there last week! Such an awesome shop.

Sergio@piefed.social · 2 pts · 252d (1 reply)

Catchin up on old memes and just saw this. I'm not in the area, but you should totally post to !gothindustrial@lemmy.world next time your Ministry tribute band plays!

vulgarcynic@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 236d

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up

HeyJoe@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 309d (7 replies)

Reminds me of this guy.

YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today · 6 pts · 309d

The hardest mfer of that entire movie!

KindnessIsPunk@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 309d (5 replies)

Is he wearing the Russian flag?

YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today · 13 pts · 309d (4 replies)

I ask this with all sincerity.

Are you blind?

KindnessIsPunk@lemmy.ca · 5 pts · 309d (3 replies)

Very possibly.

YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today · 5 pts · 309d (2 replies)

If anything it is a bi flag.

All the love to you anyways.

teft@piefed.social · 3 pts · 309d (1 reply)

If anything it’s the trans flag. Bi flag is purple with blue and red. Trans flag is light pink, light blue, and white.

Bi flag:

Accurate
The ear plugs and tats are spot on.

YoiksAndAway@piefed.zip · 7 pts · 309d

I still listen to Ministry sometimes. So yeah, accurate, mostly

ThePyroPython@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 309d (5 replies)

Oi! I'll have you know I'm last of the millennials and don't have tinnitus yet because I already wore hearing protection to deal with regular busy environment sounds.

But other than that, spot on.

Leather@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 309d

The meme says GenX - silly millennial, when you don't expect to live past 24 hearing protection is unnecessary.

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 309d

I got my tinnitus the fun way, my drummer was having a bad day the same day I had a cold. Haven't heard silence in 30 years

RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 309d (2 replies)

Loudest concert I ever attended. Gary Numan and Front Line Assembly. Even with the hearing protection I bring to concerts it was unbelievable. My tinnitus is from other stupid things, like guns without hearing protection.

My other half blames Skinny Puppy for destroying her hearing too!

muxika@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 309d (4 replies)

I was just at a Fear Factory concert. Can confirm.

vulgarcynic@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 308d (2 replies)

Caught their set at aftershock. It was fantastic. New dude hits the notes Burt always struggled with live.

muxika@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 308d (1 reply)

He's great. Awesome setlist, too. They ended the show with stuff from Obsolete and "Lynchpin." Some of the openers were good, too, like Byzantine. Nice mix of prog metal.

vulgarcynic@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 308d

The set list was everything I wanted after not seeing them for a decade or so. Happy for Dino he’s able to get out there and do that material live again.

whoisearth@lemmy.ca · 1 pts · 308d

What is the best Fear Factory EP and why is it Fear is the mind killer? ♥️

Solitaire20X6@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 309d

This f'n guy?

whoisearth@lemmy.ca · 5 pts · 308d (1 reply)

Fun story. I love industrial but hate the fashion. One of my moments was seeing Haujobb live and Daniel Myer pointing at me because in a room full of black I was wearing bright clothes and a red and blue bucket hat. The bartender also loved me because I was the only one tipping on my drinks lol.

jaz@slrpnk.net · 3 pts · 307d

You're a freak among freaks—clearly the scariest one in the crowd. 😆

InternetCitizen2@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 309d

Mr. Rogers is pretty cool

DarkDecay@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 308d

I'm holding out for a regular human bartender costume personally

SGforce@lemmy.ca · 3 pts · 309d

Look's like a cool guy to me!

DawsonB112@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 305d

The Tinnitus listing is what really sells this costume

rothaine@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 307d

Holy shit, it's K-Strass, the yoyo master

Blackmist@feddit.uk · 1 pts · 308d

T-shirt and cargo shorts, actually.

SethTaylor@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 308d

Careful where you sit, though
