Really think this should come from Energy companies profits rather than other bill payers.

Though in fact my policy is full nationalisation, no compensation for shareholders and then sort it out with real investments.

This is my problem with fining the companies: ultimately it's us that pays the fines through grossly inflated bills, while the shareholders make out like bandits.

I can't afford shares on account of the aforementioned grossly inflated bills.

Besides, I shouldn't have to be a shareholder to not be treated like shit.

Downvoted, but this is basically the best way in our current system and reality to gain money off and have control over these companies doesn't take much to get voting rights in a lot of them.
