This is the modern method of getting answers from people on the internet.
If you want an answer to something, anything that you are thinking of .... just confidently post the wrong answer somewhere and you will receive more than enough right answers from people who know.
He was actually an ancient 14th century Aztec warlord, he, uh, didnt use it for shaving.
Murphy is the anglicized version of his name-wasnt discovered until america annexed the top half of California. Which is weird because he was discovered near what is now the Oregon border.
The Aztecs actually invented it, and only thousands of years later did it filter over to a Jewish tribe they traded closely with, many anthropologists now believe.
The two cultures didnt diverge until after this event, so im calling them Aztecs even though they were actually all Olmecs, who we know a lot more about than the precolumbian history of the Aztec and Mayan cultures.
I heard an interview with a former FBI counterintelligence officer who said the fastest way to get information out of someone is an incorrect presumptive statement.
So "you seem like you were born in early March by your spirit shape" more often than you'd expect leads to "June 28th dumbass".
It's the day of Stonewall, so there are loads of pride marches, but also it was the last day of the first battle of Seoul in 1950 so the soul was slightly too early
Could probably also just ask one of those people for help in the future so you dont have to risk breaking something to get help lmao. Out of all the places I've heard this said the gym is the wildest to me because genuinely so many people there are willing to help someone who asks.
It's a deceptively supportive environment, but it's awesome when it happens. I remember helping a dude on bench and then he helped with my form on squats.
A gym where people talk to you? No thanks. I've been going to my current gym, which is quite busy, for 6 years. Nobody has even made eye contact yet. Good times.
Fyi if you're anxious or shy or whatever the gym is the place for you, nobody will bother you at all, generally. Very easy to disappear in the crowd, even if you're funny looking or something.
Maybe if you wear headphones(?) like most people, then you might not get bothered or whatever (so if you really don't want to be talked to, wear headphones or go late?).
Honestly though, it's kinda nice when every now and then someone asks for a spot and you have a nice small interaction, but maybe that's just me cuz it forces me to face my social fears.

It's called Murphy's Law. The best way to get an answer is not to ask the question but to say the wrong answer.

I’ve never been so delighted to play along!
Fun fact: that Cunningham is Ward Cunningham, the man who invented the concept of a wiki.

Why do people born on June 28th so often have a spirit shape that looks like people born in early March?

Literally the only time people talk to me is when they want to ask how many sets I have left
Most of the people in my gym are just average people though, not like a gold gym or anything.

With the risk of injury this is stupid x 1000. Theres those who have had a serious injury training or spotting and those not yet there.
