Revelations, if taken for what they're said to be, a revelation of the last days, have a few items that are worth mentioning relevant to current events.
-There will be a mark on people's hands or foreheads, without which one can't buy food.
-A swarm like locusts will rise up and destroy stuff.
-All nations will declare war on Israel.
That's just a few excerpts from memory, that could very easily be understood to fit with modern context. Aside from Israel no countries are mentioned by name iirc. Note that Israel did not exist at the time it was written, it was the Roman province Judea.

The Book of Revelation most likely pertained to Christians prior to 100CE, with John warning them against assimilating into Roman society as a whole. At the time that it was written, John had been exiled to the isle of Patmos; criticizing the Roman empire and emperor directly was likely a death sentence. (And Christians were a persecuted minority at that time.) Couching his critiques of Rome and the leaders of Rome in coded language would have been a form of plausible deniability, even if the people he was writing to would have understood what he was telling them.
The problem with claiming that it pertains to world poitics in general, and the US in particular is that, first, you have to start with the assumption that the christian religion is correct, and that's never been demonstrated in any falsifiable way, and second, you have to ignore the fact that people have been trying to shoehorn current events into the the Book of Revelation for centuries. Even if you believe that it's some kind of prophecy, rather than being coded language or the end stages of syphilis (note that syphilis was imported to Europe from the Americas; John could not have had syphilis, but it's still funny), it's so vague that you can force almost any event to fit. Kinda like your horoscope.

It was a heavily symbolic write up of what was to come of the reign of Nero.

Why would I be jealous of antivaxxers?
I just hope that their selfish stupidity doesn't hurt others
Each antivaxxer who dies from a preventable disease makes the world a slightly better place
