Whats the simplest way to encrypt a file on the fly with iPhone?

The only thing I can think of atm is to create a keypass .kdbx and create an entry and attach a file but there must be a simpler more straightforward way...I want to understand the how as well as what

Edit:or can Python maybe do that, accept a file and run it thru that maybe

This might work for you: https://github.com/aonez/Keka

Haven't used it but I've heard of cryptomator.

Cryptomator is made with cloud storage in mind, but it would still do the job.

Still a bit clunky for a single file encryption, you gotta setup a vault and its not super portable feeling

I'm thinking like the password-protected-pdf type output

I have PGPro but I dont think it can encrypt actual files, just text

I haven't used mine in forever, but if I recall correctly you could encrypt images, docs, zip files etc, and it promted for key password to decryot the document for viewing
