Anyone else getting "unknown error 17" when tapping on a picture?

Sometimes picture will show with the error on top of it, sometimes it won't show at all, just the error.

Unfortunately this app is abandoned. Homie took my money and ran.

Same here ... loved the app when it was active with Reddit ... then followed the developer to Lemmy ... disappointed that they abandoned it

Switched over to Summit and fully enjoying it on both my accounts on Lemmy and Piefed

Sync is unfortunately not being developed any more. It will stop working completely when Lemmy 1.0 rolls out. I suggest coming terms with it and start trying out other apps so you're not caught off guard when the day comes.

Personally I found Summit to be by far the best.

It won't really stop working completely right after v1.0.0 is released, because v1.0.0 will have some v3 API compatibility for a while just for this case. But that too will be removed at some point.

Adds an API wrapper so that existing clients can keep working with Lemmy 1.0 without any changes. This will make upgrading much easier as we wont have to wait for all clients to be updated to the new api. Besides some clients are now unmaintained and will probably never get updated.

Oh neat, I didn't know about that! Still though, I would advise moving to a client that is actually being actively developed.

So today posts' and comments' scores stopped showing up in Sync so I switched to Summit as recommended and it's fuckin' sweet! 😍 Thank you.

Your welcome! The dev is super active and helpful too and open to suggestions and requests, if there is some Sync feature still missing from Summit.
