Cameraman's got nerves of steel

They gave him a gun too, so he was safe!

rotkehle@feddit.org · 11 pts · 251d

the American way

I was just thinking how you'd have to give me some pretty hefty ballistics glass to stand behind to get those shots because this asshole is definitely gonna negligently shoot someone.

Yeah, I see that now after watching it a few times. And he only fires the rifle (weak grip) when it's pointing away from the camera. The pistol shot is towards the camera, but at least he has a strong grip on it.

Then they're idiots. Treat every gun as if it's loaded.

Hey! I'll have you know that Sonny Puzikas has only accidentally shot another instructor once! Overall a pretty solid chance of safety.

I really hope Sonny used this as a wakeup call to stop being so reckless

At this point you're lucky to get Seagal on his feet for an action scene.

sad_detective_man@sopuli.xyz · 12 pts · 251d (3 replies)

Wait is he sitting down in that?? I've seen the fight scene one but that's insane

setsneedtofeed@lemmy.world · 23 pts · 251d (1 reply)

It's one of the few times he's standing in that movie; what you're seeing is his maximum physical exertion in the movie. Most of the rest of the movie he's behind a sniper rifle and bad guys just run into his line of sight over and over.

On the cover his head is 100% photoshopped onto somebody else's body. He's not even presentable for a still cover.

Lol. Guy's a self parody now. But I guess there seems to be money in that

pulsewidth@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 250d

I think the joke is the incredibly poor gun-handling skills. Buttstock just waving in the air instead of against shoulder, nearly clocking himself with that deft repositioning maneuver. I'm not a gun guy, but this looks like more like The Naked Gun than a navy seal movie.

SantasMagicalComfort@piefed.world · 10 pts · 251d (3 replies)

Wouldn’t Stephen Seagal be sitting in a spinny chair to pull this shit off?

njm1314@lemmy.world · 29 pts · 251d (1 reply)

Step one: make yourself very dizzy.

MojoMcJojo@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 250d

Parallel step two. Waste ammunition

PugJesus@piefed.social · 23 pts · 251d (3 replies)

"Let's try spinning, that's a good trick!"

What movie is that from? I think I saw it decades ago...
