As long as it’s actually designed to slope towards the drain, it’s all good. I have one of those “free
with countertop purchase” sinks, and there’s absolutely no slope. It sucks. It also has square corners! So difficult to keep clean.
Which might defeat the point of a wider stream, at least the point of it for some people: that water doesn't splash all around after hitting the dish in a single concentrated jet.
You should care about grammar and punctuation. They aid in communication and everyone wants to be understood clearly, no? Sorry if I came off too harsh. My last line was intended to be an expression of exasperation about how common poor grammar is in general, not specifically directed at you. Anyway, I hope I haven't put you off learning. I know us grammar Nazis can be annoying, but we mean well.
Idk, my in laws in general agree with us on politics. I'm playing with water because they keep making mean comments about my wife and I'm this close to loudly explaining what portion of her therapy is about them.

OP was talking about the water stream but yes those things are extremely irritating

If you're faucet sucks, then that's a real red flag.
Water should be coming out, not going in. I think you may have purchased a dental apperarus.

That must be super effective at removing hard stuff stuck to plates and utensils.

They probably have mineral buildup in their faucet.
W3dd1e@lemmy.zip · 11 pts · 230d
I bought one that has this as a feature.
It makes a sphere then sort of converges at the end. You can’t see it well in the link. They cut off the shot.

The fuck. It looks repulsive and intriguing at the same time.

Nah I think this is the design of It, they have a water softener system installed and my fiancee just confirmed its built that way
Zamboni_Driver@lemmy.ca · 12 pts · 230d
It converges around the middle and is diverging by the end.
StarvingMartist@sh.itjust.works · 9 pts · 230d
I mean if we're gonna get pedantic technically it converges about ¾'s through the stream

Depends how far away you hold it

Overall horribly unoptimized system tbf

This photo is confusing the shit out of me... Besides having 3 tubs and the middle one being ridiculously to small, what's the interesting part?
HexadecimalSky@lemmy.world · 24 pts · 230d
The waterflow out of the faucet...instead of just going separately they converge.....
Zoot@reddthat.com · 12 pts · 230d
Oooooh the water itself, I completely missed that thank you.
HexadecimalSky@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 230d
yeah took me a bit I though the tub was supposed to be oddly shaped, like a funnel or something, then I noticed the water stream.

There's a button on the side to make it spray.
The converging is really just a side effect of the spray function.
SlurpingPus@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 229d
Ah, like in a showerhead with adjustable width of the stream, where this would be some intermediate value.

“The water spouts from my in-laws’ sink faucet converge.”
FTFY.

Thank you, I wasn't sure what I was supposed to observe in this picture. The sink is very unusual to me, the faucet isn't.

Instead of taking pictures, you should use the faucet to wash those dirty dishes.
