If ICE are the only ones with guns they'll escalate and provoke and innocent's will keep dying.

If even a handful of protesters have rifles, then no matter what happens "worst case scenario" in ICE's heads is they get lit up for going to far.

They're just going to get back in their cars and drive away, but if people do it everywhere, there will be nowhere to go except the places that like ICE, and they won't like them long.
