LDS church also, they fought having to report child sexual abuse in court and have lawyers and insurance in place specifically to prevent them from reporting child abuse. it's so fucking crazy it's unbelievable. I grew up in that church and I really don't get how anyone still attends it. other than they don't know.

look at any coalition of power, it's often groups that wouldn't mind killing each other once the need for cooperation is over, and there's MANY examples of this actually happening. one Iran was free from the US puppet government, the groups that banned together to win that freedom immediately started killing or otherwise out playing each other to get their group in charge. only one of many many examples.

a building is an asset, not a liability, it always increases in value, and even if it is burned to the ground on a higher than average rate, the land it's on remains incredibly valuable and an asset. the people living there are losing money. the people who own it are gaining money WITHOUT TENANTS. the equity goes up. period. that's why people go into debt to own the land. because it's an asset.

homie, I AS IN ME, don't have any opinion on this shit. I'm educated enough to know my opinion isn't even qualified, but unfortunately we have no historical examples of forward progress in all of human history that isn't marked by huge wealth gaps in civilizations of the past. Again. I don't have a say in this. the data shows this. and again, just because it happens, doesn't mean it works. you can put a doctors clothes on, doesn't make you a doctor. you can have nightmarish wealth gaps, doesn't mean you're making progress.

the corrosion of two personalty that reshape each other until they're incompatible, I guess. but also a lot of dysfunction. I got so good at being a grey rock in the face of their exciting need to be excited by constantly fighting that they got bored of trying to get a reaction out of me and I got tired of the panic attacks and suicidal thoughts. Anyway, separation has been nice, but having kids means you're locked into a kind of relationship that necessitates mutual good faith cooperation so it's a nightmare. REALLY don't have kids with people you haven't lived with first for several years. 6mo whirlwind relationships are a bad place to invest the next 20+ years of your life, also, you can't out run, out think, or recognize your truama, you are you, and you can't not you. therapy early and often.

they did, often repeatedly, we only have decent art in Egypt and Greece for so long because they kept taking each other over and reteaching each other to do art, there's big stretches in both sides where they clearly lost the ability, and the Romans just kept copying the Greek art forever they didn't make huge leaps you don't see that until much later when someone in Europe decided statutes could look good from every angle and not just one, which is a very hard line in the temporal understanding of art history. but it's REALLY hard to get your society to have the labor distribution to allow people to make scientific progress and digest other civilizations works while also being stable for a long time which requires wealth disparity, which clearly requires culture and religion that justifies that, and you need military stability for centuries, and you need to also have the internal will to make progress and not simply declare yourself the master race of men and devolve into eating each other over which pig is MORE equal to which other pig in terms of power, or simply not get taken out by an earthquake, volcano, or, storm, it's VERY difficult.

good thing "providing" housing costs nothing. it only makes money. you get the equity of owning the building and the rent. the cost of upkeep is always FAR behind rent. the idea that providing housing costs a huge amount of money is absurd. It's parasitic. If the people paying the rent, which is the upkeep and additional profit, owned the equity, they would also eventually break even and make money. Talking to people like they aren't smart enough to understand how badly they are getting robbed, isn't an argument. it's assholery.

there's also conditions that result in you seeing things as very small or large, so there are brain malfunctions or conditions not related to consumption of substances that cause similar effects, your brain can see people or human figures more often in visual stimulation in certain circumstances, so a mushroom causing you to see small people could mean it creates those conditions in brain function where you see human figures more and their size is distorted. this could be brain function and not a cultural response to intoxication.
