VR googles for blind people would be useless? I think headphones are quite useful.

I think me means headphones on blind people are like VR goggles for sighted people.

I wonder if he meant to joke that VR Goggles are useless for sighted people, unlike headphones for blind people, which would be quite useful.

Unless they are some fancy expensive ones that do positional audio really well. No they are not.

Think of the difference between VR and a normal TV. Same thing with positional audio/7.1 headphones/binaural vs regular headphones
