light mode for Lemmy?

Is there any way to switch from dark mode to light mode in Lemmy? I don't see an option for that in settings, and the quickstart guide is silent about it. Am I missing something or am I doomed to dark mode?

There are people who use light mode?

yes, the dark mode is blurry and difficult to read for people with astigmatism. like personally my eyes are straining and uncomfortable if I have to read digital light-on-dark text.

Funny enough, I also have astigmatism, and it's harder to read light mode for the same reason. It's just that the blur moves inwards instead of outwards. With bold fonts it's not as bad, but thinner fonts can be a pain to see

I've just realised why I can't read white on black anymore. The optician got rid of my cylinders. I've had astigmatism all my life.

Try looking for themes. It's in settings. Just named a bit different as it does more then shift from light to dark.

Assuming you are using the default Lemmy frontend, go to your account settings, scroll down to Theme and select one of the Litely themes.
