Boobs.

No, bust. You see, it's more refined like that. I'm not a boob man, I'm a bust connoisseur.

Right, Buster.

Very fine work, dude.

If I may provide one minor criticism (and feel free to ignore me), after watching the gif, my one critique would be that I think you went juuuust a smidge too dark with that final shading on the left side of her face and shoulder. It looks like a more direct shadow after that final pass, but doesn't feel consistent with the shading on her chest or the placement and intensity of the highlights then, which seem to be much softer ambient lighting. And I think it lost you a bit of definition and detail on her face and eye. In my opinion, it looked most natural and defined, I think, right at the 57 second mark in your gif before you darkened the irises.

I agree after watching it myself a few times. Thank you for taking the time to point that out!!

I’m about to go bust myself… just kidding, wish I had half your skill 😎

🤣🤣🤣

Thank you. And it just takes practice. About a year practicing real people, only cartoons before then. Just gotta start and keep going.

Not just practice. It takes the will to do it. I think that's where most people fail.

BallShapedMan@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 65d (2 replies)

I'm about to say something nerdy and feel free to completely ignore it. Behaviors are most often the output of systems and structure. If we set up our systems and structure properly we can get most of the behaviors we want. Atomic Habits goes a long way to prove and talk through this.

orbituary@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 65d (1 reply)

I agree, but even that takes effort.

For myself, I force practice for the things I want to do daily: guitar, drawing, work skills, etc.

The act in and of itself lowers the price of admission in the sense that it becomes less tedious with repetition. Perhaps it's the same as what you're saying. I've never heard the term "Atomic Habits," but I'll look it up.

That said, it still takes willingness and dedication.

It does take willingness and dedication. And Atomic Habits is a book by James Clear. Considered by many to be the gold standard for getting ourselves to do stuff.

She's going to take my lunch money. Right after I give it to her willingly.

You captured a lot of personality in this piece.

Nah, she isn't wearing a bra. This is realistic.

I disagree, but here it is next to the reference I used. You decide.

And this is a real person so please use respectful language.
