The article was quite clear that they were told by a particular someone in the "Republican Establishment", which right now is a subsidiary of Trump.
No, they don't need to be told to hold the partisan line, but I wouldn't put it past Trump (or even Stephen Miller) to treat them like employees. Which must be a bit humiliating for a Member of Congress.....
I'm calling bullshit on this.
Has no one here ever watched one of these shit show hearings? They will happily clean Pam's shoes with their tongue with no prompting at all.
am I missing something though, I'm assuming there's like 18 democrats inn that committee so, what good does giving them the monopoly on questions on anything that matters.
Other banned topics include the law, crimes, discrimination, investigation, the Department of "Justice", and people whose name contain an N an A, an R, or an I.
Honestly if they somehow conduct an entire inquiry without bringing that up it will be inconceivably suspicious in its absence. I feel like that would make the Republican members appear MORE guilty, not less. If you're a Republican who had nothing whatsoever to do with Epstein, you've gotta consider that avoiding the single largest and most disturbing cover up in (potentially global) political history is essentially going to drag you right into it.

Instructed by whom, exactly? The article doesn't say. It just says "a source in the Republican establishment". That could be anyone.
My money is on Stephen Miller. It sounds like a thing he would say....

Instructed by themselves and each other. They don't need to be told to circle the wagons.

Might be that Miller doesn't want the pubs to go after Clinton

Huh.
Why not?
I thought this was the most transparent administration in history? Why would something like the most notorious pedophile ring be off-limits?

I’m sick of the corruption. But more than that I’m just so sick of the immaturity.

If it’s anything like last time Bondi will just attack Dems instead of responding.
