There sure have been a lot of posts on lemmy about Rochester recently.
Did you know it's also the current residence of the author of Mickey 7 (inspiration for the movie Mickey 17 as well as, presumably, a fairly prolific lemmy poster)? That author also grew up about an hour from where I did.
(I learned this from the "about" section in one of his books so I don't feel it's inappropriate to share.)
I actually have this same thing, one pupil is very often far more dilated than the other.
Did Karate as a kid to young adult, for a decade, been in a number of other kinds of tussles... I've actually taken more serious blows to the head than I can count.

bowie had a lot of surgery from the hit to the face, over a couple of months. if you don't remember having that, then i think the eye thing is not your biggest issue

I've been seriously concussed and/or outright knocked out cold... well, again, more times than I can remember.
You are right though: I am now a year + into my own daily at-home PT to recover from my latest, and by far most significant wallop, so I do in fact have bigger issues at present.
It's a shame, haven't been able to get out to any Karaoke spots in a while... it's been so long.
Yeah, the “!?” wasn't directed at Sinatra, seduction and adultery are completely in character for him, it was directed at the law making them an arrestable offence, sometimes I forget that the USA were founded by fundamentalist religious fanatics.
It is actually illegal to publish the name, face or any identifying information about suspects in some countries. Just because you are suspected of a crime, doesn't mean you've lost your right to privacy. And it only helps to further public outrage and mob justice. The media can tell their stories just fine without naming or showing the people who are suspected of doing so.

On the other hand, a legal obligation to collect and publish mugshots on intake prevents people from getting disappeared.
Though that's still a concern in the US these days, when ICE is able to just kidnap people off the streets and ship them wherever with no due process.
