The board elections and voting are run by lemurs using a series of colored balls that when thrown in a particular sequence indicate voting intentions and monetary policy support, board meetings must have at a minimum two presentations occuring simultaneously or they are immediately cancelled in favor of seeing who can jump over all the board room chairs in a makeshift hurdle sprint competition.
The board members are risk averse, anti-innovation, weren't paying attention during the PowerPoint, and just trying to hang on until they can get their bonuses and go golfing.
as data points: the three boards i've held a directorship on were at least 75% white and I was in my 30s. I was easily the youngest person on each board by twenty years.
I admit to being mildly offended when people have aspersions cast upon them because of things they didn't get to choose and cannot change. Like race and age.

When do the couch forts happen, though? I'll aim for that segment of the meeting.

Dude, historically board of directors has been old white guys.
Its a funny meme, not a political statement. Don't get your panties in a twist.

As long as I can consider mine a group of middle-aged black women, sure.

You do that as you look for reasons to be offended.

It's okay, no people had aspersions cast against them in this post.

You can consider yours whatever you want, I don't think anyone cares what you do in your head with that.

Yeah... Why punch up? We should leave old rich white people alone!

You can always count on Lemmy for it. As long as it's the right ageism and racism, of course.

Tell me, what kind of racism do white male board members experience?

They get given weaker spiced food at curry houses.

The 20-something Hooters servers just PRETEND to like them. So unfair.
