Do y'all swing that mic around like a lasso or what? That level of fucked isn't happening on a static cable even if the sheath is made of fucking mud..
I once (in fact several times) fixed a cable which looked like that (because of a dog I had) with pipecleaners (bendy metal with soft cotton outside and some cling film.

As far as I know it just stood in that exact position... I mean, it is a Razer product, so...
MBech@feddit.dk · 9 pts · 172d
I have had a lot of razer mice through the years, and their cables are always shit.

Yeah I don't buy it either. The rubber outer cover was clearly removed intentionally
Onomatopoeia@lemmy.cafe · 7 pts · 172d
I've seen lots of shitty cables do just this
TrickDacy@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 172d
So the rubber coating just evaporates on its own then? You realize this is not believable, right?

Nothing a duct tape and a bit of electric engineering can't solve, eh? 😬
Kolanaki@pawb.social · 27 pts · 172d
Should probably consider electrical tape instead.
expatriado@lemmy.world · 22 pts · 172d
should be applied in this order: cat hair, electrical tape, dog har, duct tape. the fibers add tensile strength
Scubus@sh.itjust.works · 9 pts · 172d
Where can I ethically source my dog har
gothic_lemons@lemmy.world · 13 pts · 172d
Dog park, pet some dog, brush excess dog hair into bag while whistling. The whistling will help avoid detection or suspension

Black dog -> White sweater
White dog -> Black sweater

i used to run a ton of network cable and we replaced plenty of cat 5 cable that looked just like that.

This might just be the worst thing I’ve ever seen

It looked worse, I think.

Wonder if it's something in the desk mat causing it? Or do they have cheeto hands a lot? Work with solvents a lot?

It is fighting hard for its own life.

Hey! You can buy them in stores now, but they're REALLY expensive.
