Conversion project of old US Army housing from the fifties, after the Gl's had left 30 years ago after Cold War had ended.
Means there are 100s of nearly identical ones in our direct neighbourhood, but nowhere else here.
So it is common and unique at the same time :-)

No, it is big in Germany, too. And has actually a pretty good reputation, my sister was jealous after hearing we now have a Gorenje fridge...
