So... I have no fucking idea how the "Cute" tag got applied here. Taken out of context, the lemonade stand is genuinely adorable, just...

The article was from 2021, so I looked up to see how this girl is doing today. Her mom keeps a Facebook blog (https://www.facebook.com/share/17ppFNNnsm/) for anyone that is interested. Doesn't seem that you need a FB account to read it.

Okay, but what's the alternative? Taking care of people just because they "need it" or "could die without intervention" like some kind of sucker? Next thing you know, today's kids will be going out and getting brain surgeries or other serious procedures willy-nilly on the taxpayer's dime. They'll be laughing at us until the general anesthetic kicks in.
