Unless Trump is part of the plan. Him being a "Russian asset" allows each US citizen to disassociate and to not feel responsible. People shrug everything off while nobody asks who is in power if Trump is so incompetent. To me that looks like a brilliant plan.

The US lifted oil sanctions on Russia. They aren't being an ally to us, and we have no reason to send our people and resources to deal with their nonsense. Focus on phasing out fossil fuels as soon as possible instead. (This should have been done decades ago, but the second best time is now.)
Even if you ignore all of the ethical concerns with this war, there's no benefit for any other nation. Hell, the only benefit for the US is as a distraction and it's now become too distracting.
Continuing the war causes oil prices to increase and also affects international trade in general. Why would I as a leader of a European nation want this situation to continue?

The US has the largest naval fleet in the world why can't they do it? anyway I thought Iran's navy had been totally wiped out so what exactly does he need on the nation's warships for?
This is so insanely stupid. Iran lets out some ships from countries like China and India, which made deals with Iran. So other countries can either transport cargo on those ships or make a deal themself. No reason to risk a warship, which could be used against Russia and valuable air defense needed in Ukraine.
Edit: you just know that anyone who comes in, is just going to get blamed by Trump and the Trumpettes for anything that goes wrong - which will be everything.
And that's just if they're lucky. At some point Trump will fuck off and leave them holding the bag - and a bunch of the blame - on occupation-or-evacuation, face some kind of moral depression on rebuilding (you know the US isn't going to do it, those days are over), and also likely terror attacks on their home soil and infrastructure. So yeah - no thanks. We used up whatever goodwill we had in the voluntary military operation department when we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan.
