The most blatant lie in this clip is that the Donvict did it for the vote second. If it were up to him, there would be no Congress at all. And he wouldn't care whatever happened to any of them as people. It's just like the gravity he demonstrates when the White House Press corp ask him questions about our military coming back in body bags. That’s it. That’s all he got out of this, for a second he got to feel like a big man, and that was enough to smile and tell everyone someone else private medical information.
See how important I am, I know something not everyone else knows. Sure it’s terrible news for that guy, but I’m not that guy so why would I give a fuck. If you read his niece's book that's basically the book. IIRC he was raised about as badly as you can, being given no love and only receiving approval for displaying strength. The family is reminiscent of the Kennedys except the Kennedys weren't expected to be bullies to anyone but their kids, they just had to be exceptional.
