Heat up some olive oil in skillet, medium high, add cherry tomatoes, leave undisturbed for a few minutes until they blister, add some garlic (shallots, whatever), s&p...stir it up and cook another few minutes until they're blistered to your desire...some fresh herbs, perhaps a splash of balsamic vinegar...feta/any toppers...indulge!
