You gladly identify as a Republican when you think it benefits you, while elsewhere in this thread you claim to not be a Republican. Bullshit. You sound exactly like every other ignorant right wing shithead, right down to denying the southern strategy, denying the continued existence of the klan and their current political alignment, attacking antifa. Every time I see your posts, I’m astounded that you’re tolerated on this platform at all.
Agreed. The Oxford comma is superfluous in a list of adjectives.
If you’re listing adjectives that modify a single noun, there is no ambiguous regrouping of those adjectives that can change their meaning. They all still modify the noun. If you are listing nouns, as in the popular “strippers, JFK, and Stalin” meme, then there is room for confusion and the comma helps to clarify.
Regardless, if the intent is clear, it’s a silly rule to get nitpicky about. Fuck the haters.
Sorry to be that guy, but the headline in the photo says “Millionaire” with an M. That’s not necessarily uber wealthy, especially in New York. Most NYC millionaires are working class, depending on whether you lump centimillionaires in that category.
Then, somehow, Howie Mandel thought it would be a good idea to turn the false advertising brine shrimp caricatures into a live action abomination TV series in the ‘90s.
Depends on your region and the model you selected. I get the impression that they went heavy on the 512+controller SKU and that waitlist seems like it moves the quickest in most regions.
That’s kind of the disadvantage of them siloing the waitlists the way they did. You’ve got people getting full kits after just a few weeks while people have been waiting for just the controller for months.
He was profiled for traveling. If you read even the article summary, the reason they stopped him in the first place was because flock identified him as someone who “travels to Michigan frequently.”
FYI, if you ever find yourself able to host your own server, it is possible to download your world from the realm and host it yourself without the monthly fees. It’s nice to have the peace of mind that the data is in your own hands.
Being sexual doesn’t automatically make it offensive, it just makes it unprofessional. As software that is seeking widespread adoption, its acceptance in professional environments matters. I could make a program called Skrotum if I thought it was funny, but I wouldn’t be surprised when people are hesitant to recommend it to others because of the name I chose.
What makes it offensive is that it’s a slur for handicapped people. That’s the origin of the BDSM term and the use that was popularized by the character in Pulp Fiction that was specifically referenced by the creators of GIMP.
As soon as they got to the part about getting forced through a shopping mall with perfumes and expensive handbags, I knew they were talking about Heathrow. All airports have their issues, but Heathrow is uniquely terrible in that regard.
And you’d rather they didn’t? Obviously it would have been better if they didn’t mock climate change in the first place, but if they then use their same platform to use the same influence to acknowledge their mistake, it’s much better than them just staying silent about it. It’s incredibly counterproductive to mock people who actually admit when they were wrong, even if they’re not as quick about it as you want them to be.
“This is not something that is even seriously contested by anybody.”
“This extremist nonsense that I just spewed is totally real, guys. Everyone agrees with me. You don’t need to ask them.”
I dunno, shithead. Seems to me like that interpretation is seriously contested by the Trump v Barbara ruling that shot down your last stab at this. It also seems pretty seriously contested by a grade school understanding of the text of the 14th amendment.
This isn’t a price announcement, though. This is irresponsible journalism treating some jackass’s speculations as a leak. Valve is not talking to Tyler McVicker. He doesn’t know anything more than anyone else on the r/SteamFrame subreddit.
Huh. I have never had any interest in seeing or displaying profile pictures, but I didn’t realize my experience was actually that much different for using Voyager.

The Wiggles?
Too heavy for me.
The guy on the cellphone in the background is the giveaway.

It was created in the US and named in specific reference to the offensive meaning of the word, so I would say that makes it pretty relevant.

The staffer at my Republican senator’s office when I call and tell them to oppose Chuck Schumer:
Groovy jacket, baby! Yeah!
