Viewer beware: Worst-rated Apple TV shows and movies

https://www.cultofmac.com/reviews/worst-rated-apple-tv-shows-and-movies

Despite its reputation for quality hits, Apple TV swings and misses sometimes. Here are the worst-rated Apple TV shows and movies.

TL;DR:

  1. The Family Plan 2
  2. The Family Plan
  3. Argylle
  4. Before
  5. The Crowded Room (article says this actually has 7.7 on IMDB)
  6. Amazing Stories
  7. City on Fire
  8. Liaison

I can't stop laughing at Family Plan 1 & 2 being in the top spots! Argylle was bad, but i was suckered into watching it. Both Family Plans looked pretty terrible just from the trailers.

ETA: Original numbering was a countdown, which was interpretted in markdown as 1-8 top to bottom, which resulted in reverse ordering. Fixed that to listing worst to less worst.

Crowded room was interesting. I would not call it bad.

Yeah, I wasn’t interested in it, but generally anything over 7 on IMDb is probably OK, at least.

I was surprised they made a second Family Plan. I didn’t watch either. I do not get the appeal of Mark Wahlberg.

I’m surprised Invasion isn’t on there. I (hate) watched the first season. I wanted it to be good. It wasn’t.

Agreed. mark wahlburg sucks. He’s a one trick pony that should be relegated to henchman etc roles.

I kind of hate-loved Invasion. I can’t really explain it.

Who cares? People like different things.

I didn't mind Argyle. The trailer had a blatant bait and switch, but I love Sam Rockwell so it worked out.

ClownStatue@piefed.social · 3 pts · 158d

Rockwell was fun, as always, but the rest of that movie was so bad. And I like most of the people who were in it!

If you think of Argylle as one of Moira Rose’s films, rather than Catherine O’Hara, it’s funnier.

That fake moon landing movie might be the worst movie I’ve ever seen
