-79 grams

Honestly, I believe them. It looks like something that would have negative mass.

48954246@lemmy.world · 19 pts · 135d

It certainly is repelling me very well

And -5 programmable buttons.

I don't have an explanation for that one. Does it disable keyboard keys?

fartographer@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 134d

Instructions:

  • Unpack your new anti-gravity mouse
  • Make sure it is fully charged before powering on. Use only the USB cable not included
  • Power on your mouse, it will enter pairing mode
  • Throw your mouse at your keyboard until 5 keys are removed
Warm tip: key removal may take multiple attempts due to the unit's negative mass

in the center is an insect trapped in amber from prehistoric times or something by the look of it

The sweat dripping down will let the bouncing Doritos crumbs stick and fossilize into gamer stalactites

It's really not that much work. Just completely disassemble the mouse, put the shell in your ultrasonic parts cleaner for 30 to 60 minutes, then dunk in plastic-safe disinfectant solution. Rinse with deionized water, dry with filtered compressed air, and reassemble. I keep 3 in rotation so I always have one ready to go and another in reserve.

If you can't afford to invest 2 hours in basic maintenance each night maybe stick to whatever came with your prebuilt Costco PC.

sad_detective_man@sopuli.xyz · 2 pts · 134d

costco normies owned 🥺

I thought it was a cycling helmet until I read the text.

isVeryLoud@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 134d (1 reply)

Imagine if it came with a matching cycling helmet

TigerAce@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 134d

Imagine how even more ridiculous cyclists would look with a mouse like this.

OwOarchist@pawb.social · 25 pts · 135d (2 replies)

For people who (somehow?) have absolutely no dust in their house.

isVeryLoud@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 134d

Meh, dust go in, dust go out.

SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 1 pts · 134d

Or spiders

shirasho@feddit.online · 21 pts · 135d

Not the worst idea I've seen. I imagine the increased air circulation would help prevent some cheese. Obviously this would not be for the people who like high dpi + high weight mice.

is it intentionally designed to look reversed? like that's clearly a slot for the scrollwheel closest to the camera

tyler@programming.dev · 8 pts · 135d

I’m very confused what the nightmare is here.

Smorty@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 7 pts · 135d

this is supposed to look like those matrix containers, right?

Holytimes@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 134d

That's just a kink3d Chasity cage as a mouse...

caurvo@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 4 pts · 135d (1 reply)

There is a whole world of ultralight mice out there. Did wonders for wrist, instead of using the anvil of an MX Master which ruined it.

TheBrideWoreCrimson@sopuli.xyz · 2 pts · 134d

Good for you. I also bought one recently. I hate it, though, and only use it for travel.
I need something that stays on the ground and not move upwards along the Z-axis when handling it due to its sheer lightness.

SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 134d

That's a spider van

rizzothesmall@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 134d

I think about things like this the same as bullshit ormolu furniture. Sure, it looks interesting. But it will get dirty. And it will be a pain fully in, up, and around the ass to clean.
