Rarely does a day go by where I'm not thankful my young adult years are pre-Internet. If I did something humiliating or had something humiliating done to me it was localized in impact and could be lived down because the evidence wasn't faithfully duplicated for the rest of my life.
Anybody brought up in the Internet era will have every stupid thing they ever did, or every vile thing ever done to them recorded for posterity and following them around for the rest of their lives.
I have to say I do much prefer being a woman to being a man, so whether either group has it better or worse by whatever metric, I'd still rather be a woman.

They do have it better than men. When men aren't around. I can't have a relaxing shower or a nap without a man being in that room, it's revolting.
