In Wisconsin, we have a town named, Plover. I was in the passenger seat of a work truck and we were headed down the Hwy. We got to the sign telling you how far away Plover was.
I yelled out "PLOVER!".
The driver swerved a little back and forth, looking at me all surprised. Then he got the joke. And proceeded to yell at me about how "dangerous" that was, and he wasn't amused.

I will protect you from these savages, little one. They care not for your squishy little body - nor I for theirs.
