I have only been outside of the US twice, but I’ve traveled to all 4 corners of the continental US as well as Alaska and Hawaii
I have an extreme fear of spiders due to walking through a web of baby spiders when I was a child
I moved across the US to live with an online friend who I only met once before moving

Actually, it's the Reddit one! I used to post there a lot, but I only hit the front page once.
I practiced map games continent by continent, until I was able to put it all together and label everything.
A musician friend wrote a song as a birthday present. :::

I also practiced learning all the flags. I've only ever traveled to one other country (USA and Canada), but I love me some Geoguessr and I figured that learning geography and flags would help me get better at it, lol.
The song was really sweet. I wish I still had a copy of it. It was in Spanish, and talked about a curious girl who was always asking, "Why is the world the way it is?" with a chorus refrain that "everything's going to be okay." ❤️
