?

I don't get it?

Edit:

Ah now I think I got it, it's because the mirror isn't symmetrical to the sink.
So it's more like a non OCD bathroom.

It's a cubist bathroom for asymmetrical people.

Nah it's symmetrical enough IMO. I don't care much about the mirror anyways. 😋

I was never going to get it without someone pointing it out. I don’t need a mirror to wash my hands and I don’t necessarily need a sink for mirror activities.

Same here, and to be fair, I had to ask my wife. 🤣

Is that really it? Seems like a total non-issue really.

I don't understand

Picasso pioneer cubism, where people have bizarre asymmetrical proportions. the mirror and sink aren't centered with each other. So to be centeted in the mirror while washing your hands in front of the sink, you would need to be oddly shaped, like a Picasso portrait

Also he was blind in one eye and would maybe need half a mirror? :)

TIL

DarrinBrunner@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 113d

At least the person scrubbing for surgery doesn't hog the mirror.

viral.vegabond@piefed.social · 6 pts · 113d (2 replies)

Could it have been intentional? Separating the activities would make them more efficient perhaps?

baronvonj@piefed.social · 3 pts · 113d (1 reply)

It may not have planned that way, but they could have re-centered the mirror after bringing the counter in.

billbasher@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 112d

Or turned it sideways for some two for one action

adarza@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 113d

gonna guess the other bathroom is the same, just 'backwards'. someone mixed-up the counters and nobody cared enough to correct the error.

EmilyRayne@thelemmy.club · 1 pts · 92d

honestly, would be great for a women's room, actually get to have counter in front of the mirror to redo makeup

Why would you need a mirror for either of those activities?

Allero@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 112d

Kinda handy to see what you're washing and whether it's washed properly.

Brushing teeth can leave you with some toothpaste on your lips, and it might stay after a rinse, so it'd be good to know some is left to wash off.

If there is only one basin - and it's a multi user facility - then I'd rather not queue whilst some vain cunt is preening itsself in the mirror for minutes after washing its hands.

I'm not sure there's quite enough space to squeeze in, but probably doable. They should budge the mirror left and the basin right.

No it's a single-person bathroom.
