They signed up these artists for the nation's birthday celebration, and were uninformed enough not to realize that it's a ruse to celebrate the president's birthday, and that this was political, and would forever tar them in association with the biggest piece of shit in the world (as measured by character.)
So good for them for pulling out. It's way better they signed up, then publicly pulled out. We should have every artist do that, except wait until the last minute, then be like, oh, I didn't know the president or party was involved, sorry. Leave them publicly humiliated without their entertainment.

The fucking Nazis celebrated, with pomp and propaganda, their 10th year in power on Jan 30, 1943. On that very fucking day, the German Army was getting mauled at the Battles of Stalingrad and Rzhev, because of the piss poor Nazi leadership.

It was so bizarre losing weight later in life. I've always been around water, and am a strong swimmer, but I moved away from the ocean, and been swimming in little rivers and lakes, not having salt makes the water less dense, coupled with less adipose tissue means I have to really focus on breathing now in order to float. Which I kinda like.

My guess is that it’s another Four Seasons Total Landscaping debacle. Trump just says things and expects his team to make it happen. And he expects everyone around him to bow to his every whim.
The Four Seasons thing was because he announced that he was going to be having a rally at the Four Seasons. This was clearly in reference to the Four Seasons Hotel. But he didn’t have anything booked there yet. The hotel management refused to book it. So Trump ended up at the Four Seasons Total Landscaping instead. Because the alternative would be Trump being shown as a liar.
And this is just another instance of Trump speaking before he has anything actually booked. He expected all the artists to just bend over and agree to do the show, because that’s what normally happens when he makes demands.
