i like jake 😊

BillyClark@piefed.social · 30 pts · 108d (4 replies)

I'm pretty sure that Jake substantially improved the universe that one time by killing himself.

Thebeardedsinglemalt@lemmy.world · 15 pts · 108d (3 replies)

It depends. Improved it by altering the timeline so his dad didn't disappear in the past?

Didn't they kind of imply the Dominion War didn't happen in that timeline? Jadzia Dax was still alive in that future, as well as the original Defiant and not the renamed Sao Paulo

Benjamin Sisko is easily worth a war or two.

arrow74@lemmy.zip · 6 pts · 108d (1 reply)

I'd consider 3 wars and 500 years of simulated imprisonment for O'Brien.

BillyClark@piefed.social · 1 pts · 108d

Since it's O'Brien, honestly, I'm surprised you went that low.

What would happen if Jake and Alexander Son of Worf were in the same room? Implosion?

jaybone@lemmy.zip · 24 pts · 108d (8 replies)

Jake is probably the least annoying of all Star Trek children. Alexander being most annoying of course. Naomi wasn’t too bad usually.

ElderWendigo@sh.itjust.works · 8 pts · 108d

At least all of Alexander's annoying qualities made for a believable child character, unlike a certain other magical child genius on that ship. You try to not be an insufferable brat under those parental conditions. I wish we could have seen episode of fully adult versions of Nog, Jake, and Alexander working through some emotional baggage while stuck in a cave awaiting rescue. Those kids would have some hot and spicy takes about their various parental figures and mentors.

SatyrSack@quokk.au · 4 pts · 108d

Alexander being most annoying of course.

Don't forget Lal

samus12345@sh.itjust.works · 7 pts · 108d (1 reply)

What about when Earring Girl and the lady that stabbed Q did freaky friday. And the other two.

jaybone@lemmy.zip · 1 pts · 107d (1 reply)

I think I missed that episode…

ripcord@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 107d

It happened

cybervseas@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 108d

Did they never have a scene together? 🥺

mx_smith@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 108d (7 replies)

How about an episode where Jake, Alexander and Yoshi all become friends.

thisbenzingring@lemmy.today · 5 pts · 108d

Kobayashi Maru 2: Trektastic Boogaloo

MadMadBunny@lemmy.ca · 1 pts · 108d (5 replies)

What did you just imply about Yoshi?!?

mx_smith@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 108d (4 replies)

Three sons of important Star Trek characters could get together to talk about their fathers.

FrChazzz@lemmus.org · 4 pts · 108d (3 replies)

They have the Star Trek equivalent of a podcast. Now, what's the title?

SeductiveTortoise@piefed.social · 5 pts · 108d (2 replies)

Inside Jeffrey's tube

MadMadBunny@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 108d (1 reply)

I don’t like where this is heading…

FrChazzz@lemmus.org · 3 pts · 107d

Sounds like a podcast featuring a Weyoun, ACA Brunt, and Shran. I'd check that out.

Kolanaki@pawb.social · 21 pts · 108d (1 reply)

Jake is the only real journalist I've seen in the Trek universe. The only other guy who comes close was the time Max Headroom showed up pretending to be a historian from the future but was actually a grifter from the past.

ripcord@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 108d

Oh man, I forgot that Molloch / tbe guy from Shaky Ground was in an episode, and then wondered if there really was some Max Headroom cameo I missed, like when they brought in Einstein and Stephen Hawking.

hzl@piefed.blahaj.zone · 13 pts · 108d

Leave Jake alone you weirdo creeps!

FrChazzz@lemmus.org · 10 pts · 108d

I actually like Jake. That being said, I always find it amusing when I read the production notes section of any episode of DS9 on Memory Alpha and I come across "Cirroc Lofton does not appear in this episode." Part of me wants to believe that Jake or his agent went through every episode to look for the ones he/his client was not in.

JackTea@piefed.world · 3 pts · 108d

I don't appreciate this joke.

NVM. Just got it.

Ixoid@aussie.zone · 2 pts · 107d (1 reply)

What's with the x-wing watermark? Trek / Wars crossover?

The_Picard_Maneuver@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 107d

I've seen this one before. I think the original creator of this must make memes for both.

Why so cruel?
