Fun fact. Raccoons in western North America have never been found to be carriers of rabies. I'm actually terrified of rabies and am significantly less scared of trash pandas because of it.(I'm 45 and look like a fat viking, or a fat pirate, or a fat biker)

Mmmm Agaricus and Amanitas are so tasty. You simply don't eat the poisonous ones.

Almost extinct due to one of the only transmissible cancers? (Definitely caused by the higher than usual radiation from the near-surface uranium!! /s)

Caused by their ridiculously shallow gene pool, courtesy of near extinction by human action. Yes, it's always our fault.

From what I've heard trash pandas might not be the most fun to have live next to, either.

North America was Australia until they found Australia.

The raccoons make less of a mess digging in the dumpsters than the methheads that dig in the dumpsters at my apartment.

Fiddleheads are poisonous?
Jarix@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 99d
I just saw them in my grocery today. Have never heard of them before. This is suspicious. I'm gonna go smoke a doobie
a_non_monotonic_function@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 98d
I will smoke a Doobie, as well.
We will get to the bottom of this, friend.
Jarix@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 98d
