For those struggling to see the rainbow

NaoPb@eviltoast.org · 48 pts · 86d

Thanks. That's a pretty subtle rainbow. And I like it.

Oh man, that's almost completely lost to compression in the post...

Wow that's truly unacceptable. I now have to gouge my son's eyes out.

Friendly reminder that progressive gamers are the norm and Chuds are just loud when they cry

Gamers and humans alike.

They like to measure games' success by concurrent players on Steam, so here's a quick stat: Slay the Spire 2 peaked at over 150K concurrent players today, while their (purported) anti-woke poster child Marvel Rivals peaked at about 90K. Anita wins.

MousePotatoDoesStuff@piefed.social · 2 pts · 21d

And that despite Marvel Rivals having the MCU's popularity on its side.

Historically outcasts have been overrepresented in gaming and online spaces, as it's a way to start from scratch with out moving.

People with larger social networks, has less need for the cozy discord server or community forum with 100 people than the outcast with a smaller physical network

REEEEEEE A FAINT RAINBOW THAT BARELY SHOWS UP IN SCREENSHOTS ISN’T SUBTLE ENOUGH FOR ME. WHERES MY STRAIGHT WHITE MALE REPRESENTATION MONTH!?!?!

uj/ The devs should leave it there permanently. I’m done with these chuds trying to erase people and they should be trolled infinitely.

Wimopy@feddit.uk · 22 pts · 86d (1 reply)

I could've launched the game, but I had to go to the original Reddit post to see the rainbow pic. I don't actually know if I would've noticed that if it wasn't pointed out. "not-so-subtle" indeed. /uj

Maybe it'll get stronger as the month progresses?

dalekcaan@feddit.nl · 13 pts · 86d

A faint, barely visible rainbow on a screen you spend maybe five seconds on each play session? How dare. The wokes have gone too far!

Jax@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 86d

I guess this is what happens when you stop reading books at 12 years old in favor of CoD or whatever other AAA-dogshit-jingling-keys-for-10-hours game you can think of. I bet this guy loves Assassin's Creed (still). Assuming it isn't ragebait.

Edit: I think it's pretty safe to say that if you have a problem with indie games being 'woke' then you should go ahead and forfeit your right to vote. Personally I think they should be forced to but 'muh freedum' with these people.

Did they write that post with ChatGPT???

Or I did hear that some "chatgpt-isms" might be becoming more a part of language due to people reading lots of generated text.

GeneralEmergency@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 86d

G*mers where a mistake

Rose@lemmy.zip · 1 pts · 86d

Don't tell them about Naraka Bladepoint. Their ideas about China challenging the woke West and the increasingly woke Japan might get shattered.
