It's so crazy how many countries they've tried this in.

Also crazy how many put out a heavily covered press release like this and then nobody checks back later when nothing happened or they dropped the charges or the government is getting sued.

The CIA has stations in all those countries.

They’re called “embassies”

And every country uses their embassy as a spy station. It's not exclusive to the US and the CIA.

China wasn't running an embassy here.

Mutually assured espionage

I bet the sky is blue in all those counties, too.

What's your point?

Also, name 7 counties where foreign counties say "hey, look, we only speak our own language in your county. Therefore, to ensure we have none of our people enjoying life to much, we need to set up an entire parallel law enforcement system for our people to certainly not micromanage them, but also not let you do it in your own county."

Because it's all made up bullshit. Most of these "secret chinese police stations" end up just being grocery stores that were given the ability to renew Chinese people's passports and other administrative shit.

LOL.

Let me get this right.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs is so janky as fuck as to let any Chinese shop owner on Earth:

  1. adjudicate passport renewal applications

And

  1. only do it as a legally recognized foreign law enforcement entity

But it's "just, like, an old couple that also sells Fanta and whatnot."

Is that actually what you're saying? Because there's not a single African nation that would ever even allow that, and they have some loosey-goosey rules.
