I'd genuinely love to see real evidence of any of these things being used in a wide range of models.
These are mostly expensive options (a SIM card for every TV? really?) and require maintenance and finesse, and aren't needed for the majority of units shipped. Occam's razor would suggest they're happy enough with anyone stupid enough to connect the TV that all this work for 5-10% of their market isn't worth the additional marginal cost to each unit.
Not at all. In the States people go door to door selling "discounted meat because we ordered too much and it needs to go!" Making up some BS to sell something comes at step 2 of a plan to steal a lot of something.
This looks pretty organized, and likely a few shops sell it at the same exact price as the other company sells it.
It's illegal to repeatedly harass and film people in their home. That's an invasion of privacy and harassment. Please check your local laws.
It's also very illegal to shoot at or otherwise actively bring down a drone, as you will be violating aviation safety laws. You might also be liable for damage to a drone.
First, record and submit to the police every incident. Every one. Make them also furious at your neighbor. Build the case of harassment. Build a case of violating aviation laws. Please.
Nets and string are your best countermeasure option, as those are passive, meaning the drone flies into an obstruction. If you use fishing line, pull it taught. Loose fishing line over a space can harm birds. A few criss-crossed fine strings will likely, eventually, work, and can plausibly have some other purpose, like decoration.
It's not worth being sloppy and getting into trouble on top of being harassed. Be calm, be smart. Please.
It's not a thing in the States at all. There's zero use of the hazard lights other than to indicate your car is having problems and you need to pull over, or you're parking (poorly, usually) and will be right back.
Ulysses S. Grant a failure? Ooooh, I just looked, it's because he was seen as defeating the KKK by use of the Force acts of the Reconstruction amendments. Ok, well that checks out.
Some Groyper probably had Grok make this and of course dingus retweets it.
It goes back and forth. Fiber was also big in the 1990s, and protein big maybe like 2004-2016 because of the Atkins diet trend that ended when it turns out that's not a great thing to do long term, and doesn't prevent you blocking your arteries with cholesterol.
Oh, they all know when I've had even one bean. 🪊

Lenny, never let that TV touch the internet. Who's that mic going to talk to with no connectivity?
Only items with the price subsidized by the speculative price of data harvested from the consumer.
Pay full (real) price for a higher end product and you skip the game entirely.
TIL I haven't seen a photo of Robbie Williams in 20 years.
Shoe, sock; shoe, sock, of course.
You all still do socks before shoes like little kids? Uh, ok. /s

Oh, yeah, I guess so. I've done that a few times when I was pulling up to the back of the traffic.
It's even a Mad Max style heist.
Wow, so much bad advice in this thread.

I've only seen that in Eastern Europe, but as both a "thank you" and also "oh, shit, sorry."
Me too. This was their best album, IMO. I genuinely love half the tracks, and listen to many of them regularly.
Anyone who doesn't get how this is exactly what happened is fooling themselves.
That or the other way you could put a condom full of something in you ;)
I mean surgically, to be clear.
"Uh, hey, I'd like to co-opt your post for virtue-signaling bullshit."
As a millennial enjoying a cocktail right now, hey, you do you.
And Grant as a failure? Literally the next Republican elected after Lincoln.
This is probably some incel white supremacist president list to start with, where nothing makes any sense.
My first thought, too.

We've literally had this trend before, recently.
