I love going through books of old Star Wars concept art, pointing at random pages of unused designs, and saying "They used that in Clone Wars, that one was Rebels, that was in The Mandalorian..."
same goes with James Bond actually. there are tons of stuff that gets repurposed for the movies. For example, the core plot of Tomorrow Never Dies is technically began as Dalton Third Movie and elements of rogue Double 0 ended up in GoldenEye's Trevelyan, The World is not Enough (the incapable of feeling pain part) and all the way to Skyfall's Silva. And that's without mentioning all the repurposing of the literary sources.
to think of it - Star Wars got a lot of potential for a rhythm game with wacky droids and alien busting moves. The Tatooine cantina alone got a game worth of roster.
Now I just want to see an early 90s NYC breakdancing style competition with nothing out of the ordinary except that the Run DMC music has been replaced by Star Wars Cantina Band.
i'm telling ya, it's weird LucasArts never did Dancing Droids game with customizable droids. Early 2000s LucasArts could do no wrong, they even had their own Age of Empires!

Rebels is basically porn if you dig into Star Wars development over the years.
