The fastest example of cause and affect that's shows the lack of vaccinations causing death. Will anyone learn from it? Not the people that need to.

CultLeader4Hire@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 43d

He’ll probably claim that for everyone one person who dies from the flu 100 will die from the vaccine so he’s doing a great job

Kegsbreath really needs to be convicted of murder for this.

Idiocracy aside... How the hell you supposed to be 25 and healthy enough for the air force to die of the flu?

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 42d

disease doesn't care. sometimes it just picks.

P1nkman@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 42d (1 reply)

Health standards are completely different in Freedomland.

ColeSloth@discuss.tchncs.de · 3 pts · 42d

In the air force, not really. They're fairly picky.

Theoriginalthon@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 42d

Just like with covid, measles even salmonella, some people asymptomatic, some people mildly ill, some people badly ill, some people dead. Obviously the percentages differ between diseases

MrShankles@reddthat.com · 2 pts · 42d

I have no idea, but I can say that shit just happens like that sometimes. I've seen heart arrhythmias take out whoever the hell it wants, and that's just one possibility. Regardless, 25 is too young for the flu to take you out, and that just sucks... god speed

I mean its called self sabotage for a good reason and these people can be experts.

Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 43d (6 replies)

No. They have enough experience to be experts....but not the critical thinking skills.

Like a cat who touches a hot stove, gets burned, yelps in pain, and then IMMEDIATELY touches the hot stove again, and again IMMEDIATELY yelps in pain.

Then you see the cat about to touch it again....

Why are cats catching strays out here? Literally no cat has ever done this

Whostosay@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 43d

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 42d

how orange is the cat

alanjaow@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 42d

My cat bapped a candle flame once, threw wax around when she shook her paw, then spent a half an hour licking it. Now, when she sees a flame, she watches it carefully, but doesn't touch it.

Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 42d

Because my cat kept trying to set herself on fire. We had to institute a "no candles" policy, until she died.

She krpy trying to stick her paw into the flame.

DeathsEmbrace@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 43d

Wait since when did you need critical thinking skills to be an expert in self sabotage? Wasn't the whole idea to be an expert in a lack of critical thinking skills?

Grass@sh.itjust.works · 6 pts · 43d

Its an important step in the process of becoming the american states of isreal

MrSelfDestruct@piefed.zip · 6 pts · 43d
