What countries have prosecuted anyone for being in the Epstein files?
Has the Catholic church or any mainstream religion suffered any consequences for decades of horrible behavior?
What countries, except for a few in east Asia, hold CEOs and other people in leadership positions accountable for mass harm to anyone other than the wealthy and powerful?
Bernie Madoff is famous for being punished for running a pyramid scheme, but that was only because he ripped off the wealthy. Same with Enron, they screwed over people in power.
Has any country punished any of the people in positions of power for all the child porn their image generators pumped out?
Let me know where people are actually being held legally accountable on a regular basis.
They can promise to form a group of engineers that will work to fix the issue and then a year or so afterwards they will just fire those engineers... Like they did the last time something like this happened.
Maybe once he's impeached or his term is over, however, he'll have so much influence still I doubt any adverse outcomes will come to him, unfortunately...
Trump only has influence because he is president without that is just this whiny goblin that cannot keep his mouth shut and knows too much. Epstein had influence and knew too much, and look how that turned out.
That whiny goblin has an army of followers that he has been able to manipulate as a political tool to scare Republicans in Congress into voting the way he wants them too. He has also been able to whip them into a violent mob that tried to overthrow the American government.
I have no explanation for it, but Trump's power is not limited to being President.
I'm sure the CIA have a heart attack gun or something, he'll be taken out if and when, assuming he doesn't decline to the point of which is no longer a threat.
There is no way he'll be allowed to just walk away. The 1% don't have total control of him and they can't have that.
I mean, every few months it seems we hear about some major online international crackdown that scooped up a bunch of these fuckers. The sad fact is probably just that there are more of them than there are investigators/special agents
It's really interesting. The old web was the wild west, and back then you really had to know where to look for shady stuff (except the morons who put it on the open web and were sacked by the respective authorities). Nowadays this shit is commercialized and running ads on social media - as if protecting children does not actually have anything to do with privacy violations, age verification, ALPRs or preventing teens from using social media, but rather actual police work that doesn't create a population that is naked to the eye of the state.
Everyone who goes for backdooring encryption and ID verification just wants to automate the punishment of dissidents who want something different than the ruling class.
On one hand, these tech megacorps are pushing for privacy violating measures to "protect the children"
On the other hand they're literally profiting off child abuse and refuse to stop it. See e.g. Roblox refusing to deal with paedos because they were the highest paying customers...
Man I really don't like Roblox anymore... I used to play it a lot with the kids in extended family. I was the "funcle" so to speak.
I tried to log in one day and found my password and email address has been changed. Clearly it got hacked, dunno how, since it was a very strong password manager password. Probably a data breach or something.
Anyway, I recover the account, and I'm horrified. Some weirdo has been impersonating me and speaking to the young members of our extended family. Nothing serious yet thank God, I caught it early. But really weird stuff like asking what clothes they're wearing. I contacted Roblox support but they didn't give a shit. I told the family, but I don't think they really understood what I was saying or why it's serious.
I deleted my account to remove that attack vector because that's just terrifying. Worse than those baby monitors security.
zuckerburg and his shitty company explicitly allow this shit because it makes them money, and only ever remove it, feigning ignorance, once their actions are condemned by a government. profiting off of child sex abuse.
zuckerburg profited off child sexual abuse.
The longer I stay sober, witnessing events like this, the less willing I am to subdue my ever-strengthening desire to burn shit down
Bad (but tolerated by Google/Facebook) side-effect of Programmatic Advertising (automated auction of ad spaces) is, that malvertising and crap gets in.

Uh oh... hopefully somebody goes to jail for that.

Making them stop is the extent of what society allows as punishment for companies doing something an individual would go to jail for.

And by making them stop you mean roughly this...?

Are you talking about India?

Society in general worldwide.
Including but not limited to India.

Oh that's bad because it means that you are Usamerican and have no clue (which is sometimes the same)

Our law says explicitly jail no less than 2 years and the officials are not allowed to put the case down early.
For the 200 other countries, you do your googeling yourself.

In the USA, it's already that bad. Or worse.
