How is this irony?
m0darn@lemmy.ca · 17 pts · 27d
It's ironic that a super hero would be crushed by their armour instead of protected by it.
Don't you think?
RangerAndTheCat@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 27d
A little to ironic… I really do think

Like rain on your wedding day?
ExLisper@lemmy.curiana.net · 6 pts · 27d
No, like writing a song called "ironic" and not listing anything that's actually ironic in it.

Like.... like.... being late to work because you're stuck in a traffic jam, but you're also like a city planner or something?

[Verse 3]
A traffic jam when you're already late
And you're also like a city planner or something
I like it.

It's like raaaaain on your wedding day when you specifically chose a location that was not supposed to have rain

If that was the intention, there should have been some indication that the armor is empty.
mrgoosmoos@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 26d
there is an indication, it's just not that clear. it took me a bit to understand.
m0darn@lemmy.ca · 1 pts · 26d
Yeah the eyes are off, and the armour rack is empty and the computer says error, but I do actually agree that if not obvious.
samus12345@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 26d
That's an armor rack? I would never have guessed that! It looks like a turret or something.
m0darn@lemmy.ca · 2 pts · 26d
I think it is idk.
radix@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 27d
Like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife.
tetris11@feddit.uk · 1 pts · 27d
Iron Man is a superhero who saves people, so to see him failing at his job whilst he's clearly been taken down by a shrink ray makes you wonder if he really saves people, or if they're the one's saving him. Yes
alessandro_95@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 26d
It may be the armor is iron-y as it’s completely made of iron, weighs a lot and crushes an innocent victim. And the fact that it was supposed to save life is the irony?
Illogicalbit@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 27d
And punny
