On a related note, the first person to print Shakespeare's works was colorblind. That one play was supposed to be called "Much Colorado About Nothing".

Fun fact: the American Sign Language for Colorado is just the word “color” followed by the word “do”

Return_of_Chippy@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 39d

That is indeed a fun fact

Kobibi@sh.itjust.works · 11 pts · 39d (1 reply)

I wonder if blind people read ado as just ado? What?

kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 39d

Damn you beat me to it by 1 minute

Ariselas@piefed.ca · 7 pts · 40d (1 reply)

Do Canadians spell it Colourado?

CanadianCarl@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 37d

We do, why?

perniciousanteater@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 40d (1 reply)

I will always upvote a post which mentions the place I live

lugal@sopuli.xyz · 3 pts · 39d

You live in ado?

Gutek8134@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 40d (2 replies)

If it was named "Coloredo", they would only see "o"

Sunspear@piefed.social · 5 pts · 39d

Boy do I have good news for you about what colorado means in Spanish

surewhynotlem@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 39d

Sorry, I mean "African American-o"

Damn kids these days. Can't say anything anymore. Stupid woke nonsense.

kamen@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 39d

In this line of thoughts I wonder if Traditional English people spell it as Colourado.

RedDoozer@lemmy.zip · 3 pts · 39d

Colorado in Spanish means "red", so colorblind people can't tell apart Colorado from Greenland. That's a fact.

ickplant@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 39d

I get high like Colorado

We had it all but what do I know?

SpoopyKing@lemmy.sdf.org · 2 pts · 39d

I wonder if people read "read" as "read" or if they read "read" as "read".
