I live right near the cat's butt.

Good job doxing your location... 🙄

Tomorrow there'll probably some perverts waiting for you when you step out of its bunghole.

That's a house hippo with a long nose.

He even has chips.

The text is doing a lot to make the neck look thick enough.

Hrm, giving me a good idea for a tattoo...

Took a chicxulub to the neck

Can. Not. Unsee.

On the Dymaxion projection, that's a hell of a weird duck.

wewbull@feddit.uk · 2 pts · 22d

It'd probably be ok if it wasn't for that damn meteor.

PhoenixDog@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 22d

A weird looking duck is still a duck.

Don't be insensitive.

it's all a matter of perspective

From my perspective it’s the mallards who are evil

I still see a duck.

...

Which is a dinosaur. Ok, no issue.

Track_Shovel@slrpnk.net · 1 pts · 22d

I looked at this for a second and saw a duck with a comb (like the fleshy part on top of a chickens' head)

MnemonicBump@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 5 pts · 23d (4 replies)

Is this a Southern Hemisphere map!?!

finalarbiter@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 23d (3 replies)

It's the Americas rotated 90° counter-clockwise from the typical north up representation.

MnemonicBump@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 6 pts · 23d (2 replies)

Yes, but zoom in on the map and you'll notice that all of the labels are oriented so they're read with the southern tip of South America pointing upwards

finalarbiter@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 23d (1 reply)

Oh dang, I did not zoom in enough to see that, my b. Is that common on a southern hemisphere map? I could understand using a different projection, but what benefit does just flipping it south up have?

MnemonicBump@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 22d

I have no idea, hence my initial comment

LodeMike@lemmy.today · 2 pts · 23d

I've seen better projections at the abandoned movie theater.

charokol@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 22d

That’s a pretty big duck
