Sometimes in winter gang-gangs are seen down on Merri Creek - presumably escaping the cold of the alpine terrain that they favour in summer. Maybe the black cockies are doing likewise.
Another rental inspection survived. Mr Woof was ropeable, some strange guy coming in and wandering around the house. He firmly believes strangers should either be completely absent or sitting on the couch providing a lap and pats. No other options are acceptable.
Mr Woof used to stop barking once someone came inside the house, but these days he is not happy until they are sitting down. If they stay standing he keeps up the barking.
I had to put up with twice weekly unit sale inspections by voyeurs with too much perfume for over a year. It got too much so eventually I gave up and moved to a new (much better) place. Since then the unit has been taken off the market unsold. Inspections fzuck. Best of luck to you.
Sale inspections would be an absolute nightmare. That sort of nonsense is one of the main reasons I'm looking forward to buying my own house. The freedom to just live like you want to in your own house/
I managed to score the freedom without the mortgage. My brother bought a house, paid it off, then moved to Vietnam. I have a promise from him that I can rent the place as long as I am healthy enough to live unassisted. Given my poor lifestyle choices that should be another 10 or 15 years. A long enough term that I am now working on a fruit orchard to keep me busy. No more flucking house inspections, ever!
I've got to clean up my schedule after a few whacked out weeks of sickness and kids sickness. I got up at 10 to 8 this morning. Good thing work is so close to home, one of the reasons I like this job
Work has gotten chaotic, it's cold, it's that time of the month, I'm feeling very drained. Sending much warm to everyone and hope the week isn't getting anyone down too much!
Had a weird power outage just now that was either caused by someone in the house having two absolutely filthy powerboards daisy chained on each other or what I think is a cat pissing on another powerboard. The fun never stops at this fucking place

Went outside just now and a flock of yellowtailed black cockatoos just flew overhead on Bridge Road. Never seen these before in Richmond.

Black cockatoos mean rain is on the way.

My dog is like bark bark bark bark bark. Oh you're coming in. You must pat me because I'm adorable. He does this to EVERYONE except me.

Made it down the beach for a few days off.
Gonna tackle the bird baff again.
Aesthetically turns out it's a very divisive issue lol.

In a pique of frustration, said โdangโ yesterday and my coworker loved it.
Pro tip: say โdangโ at work and dazzle coworkers

My manager is going to he back tomorrow after a sudden trip to New York for his daughter's wedding.
I'm expecting him to be back too soon, still too tired and on the fritz from the trip, so fun times ahead

after spending months sorting through thru most everything at home I just have the last of my bathroom to sort
and one last look thru my wardrobe to see what can go to opshop
If I'm not going to wear it it goes, even if i like it
