Welcome Madthumbs. I made this community, because I've discussed with a LOT of people now, and many people (including myself) has put a LOT of effort into researching and refuting claims made in linuxsucks, only to find their replies disappear from your community.
So, I'd argue that linux sucks is more a personal blog pretending to be a "community", which is wasting people's time unfairly, by not giving anyone a right of reply.
You're more than welcome to post everything you post to your community here, if you believe your resolve and your argument is strong. You're free to defend your argument against Linux. However, I've chosen to create this, to allow people to respond.
Interestingly, I have sold Apple gear in the past. I use Linux for work (and am the only one who uses it as their primary OS at work) and windows in a VM. I can't help but notice some suspicious resemblance in the way you're talking to some Apple sales/marketing people I've met, which isn't shared by Apple developers, Microsoft Developers or Microsoft users. It makes me semi suspicious what your day job is.
The point of this community is specifically to discuss problems with the linuxsucks "community", whether its problems with moderation, or misleading claims. Feel free to contribute
The linuxsucks community here is a community free from the propaganda, lies, and bullying of the Linux cult. It's a place where we don't even have to think about arguing with idiots that recycle debunked information. It may seem like it's not a community on here atm, but that's the same kind of finger pointing we got on reddit, and now our sub there is thriving.
I'm not against your 'open discussion'. -I'm not anti-free speech. If blind toxicity is your thing, you'll get it. (I'd rather just avoid it) People love curation, and that's what I provide.

lol for real. All of the strawmen arguments made it seem like madthumbs has not interacted with any real linux communities. Reminds me of "anti-feminists" that claim up and down that feminists are whinging over dumb things or out to kill men...
I got banned because I assume he was unimpressed with me refuting some of his claims and pointing out they were comparable to many aspects on other platforms. Or, I assume I probably got to the point I started pointing out it was an echo chamber. I actually don't remember specifically why.
i actually have no issue with people running a linuxsucks "community" (they exist. I don't agree with them, but whatever). However, this is more like a personal blog designed to shout their opinion over others here.

They ban anyone who isn’t utterly negative about Linux.
If it were some kind of schtick, something actually funny, then I could get onboard with linuxsucks, but I really don’t think that’s the case.
And I can hardly think of any social network less welcoming of this sort of garbage than the Fediverse. Like, wow is this not their audience.
