Looks like too low exposure and/or aperture, adjust those and then paint again

Great, now the background is overexposed and all the stars look like lines!

Focal length motherfucker, do you choose it?

If you don't, you're letting your focal length choose your photos

I'm not sure why others don't get the relevance... Samsung saw that moon photos were bad, so they "fixed" it.

Not sure how it's related, but it's an interesting article 🤔

It is...?

i like this comic so nothing against it in particular (lots of them do it), but it always seems a bit of a shame when a comic has nice art but uses a horrible clashing font for the speech bubbles

Bubs@lemmy.zip · 3 pts · 28d

I think the font is fine, they just need to make it the same color as the lines instead of pure black.

I've done this so many times over the years. I'll be on the beach or something, and the sky looks amazing, so i take a few pictures. I get home and have a bunch of pictures of a random sky.

My phone's camera, every fucking time.

You’ll pretty much never get a good picture of the moon without a tripod and 1-2s exposure paired with at least a compact zoom lens. The problem is that the moon is super bright against the sky so you have to bring your exposure way down to compensate. On a phone, it’s pretty much lost all the useful info it normally uses to fake a good result. Zoom in at all and bye bye quality.

My OnePlus 13 seems to have a moon mode where it detects you're taking a photo of the moon, so it lowers the exposure a bunch. Of course, since Samsung did it, I can't trust that it isn't just swapping it for a saved image of the moon of course.
