Between this and Microsoft admitting that Windows reports back everything you do, making you trackable across VPNs, proxies, etc, it's a wonder that anyone trusts American tech companies at all.

I think people are more and more comparing American tech to the dangers of Chinese and Russian tech, realising that of the three, America is probably the most dangerous and dubious, not just with its risk and intrusiveness, but it's long-standing influence.

For people that don't see it through the brainwashing, just replace America with a country you don't like whenever you read such articles and suddenly "Are we the baddies?" won't seem like enough of a situational comparison.

Ah, so it is true.

Thanks for this link. My takeaway: diplomats are acting as quasi-sales people because our economy has another Enron event lined up. They need more money to prevent disaster, and overseas has it.

You're welcome. I think the "shadow" and public facing governments are aware the collapse is ever more impending, and only hope to delay it long enough to make sure the domestic surveillance - genocide apparatus is in place and operational before they escape to their bunkers.

Well this seems like a good way to get at least some governments pumping even more money into open source

When they tell diplomats to play down talk on that issue, it is high time to think about this and draw the right conclusion: they will happily use that kill switch.

Good time to hold stock in Saab or Dassault.
