Yet another multi hour domestic from over the back fence. Charming. When they say check out a place you're looking to buy at different hours of the day, I didn't think 3am was included.
We had neighbours at one point that would have blues no matter the hour. My favourite was one at around 7pm about fish n chips. I think by the end they'd forgotten who even wanted to fish n chips, let alone who paid for them.
Will Labour stop doing dumb things and just get wise for once. It's politics, they should play politics. Rule by law, not by gentlemen's agreements, cos Liberal Party and the oligarchy are not gentlemen
PSA: the new Caramilk Biscoff 'chocolate' is crack. I recommend buying the smaller bars, not a whole block. Mea culpa. It's not chocolate as such, but as a sweet treat - oh my, oh my, oh my.
Likewise peacocks. I will never forget the day I saw a peacock face down a thoroughbred stallion, and win.
The peacock had a habit of eating out of the horse's feed bin, and every time the horse tried to get close enough to actually eat his dinner, the peacock rattled his tail at him, and scared him off. We eventually had to catch up the horse every evening and take him inside so he could eat his dinner in peace. But the peacock followed him into his stall and tried to scare him off again. So we caught the peacock and took it outside again. And again. This happened quite a few times until we doused the peacock with water, which dampened his ardour a bit, and he didn't come into the barn again for a while. Was definitely a situation, as a horse eating his dinner too quickly (to prevent random peacocks) can lead to major health and digestive problems. And this stallion was worth several million dollars at least to his owners, so something had to be done.
The peacocks and peahens were kept on the property to eat up fallen grain so mice and consequent snakes didn't come around. Eventually the peacocks were replaced with guinea fowl, which are much easier to handle. And quieter.

I celebrated too early.
I need a biopsy of my thyroid. And if it's not good then it'll be removed. Doc said 95% of the time it's fine but the worst case they'll remove it.
Yay I guess.
Man I gotta say. The new life isn't all its cracked up to be.

If they're looking for cancer, its one of the best ones to have. It doesn't spread, and medication can mostly replace its functions.

Yeah there's nothing wrong with my lymph nodes which is great , but if they end up removing it I'm worried about my vocal chords.
Hopefully all is well. I'll probs get the biopsy later this week.

Fingers crossed for you. The people I know who have had it removed haven't had issues with normal vocalisation, but they're not singers.

Remember the days when a party changing leaders while in government was seen as wildly inappropriate instead of standard operating procedure?
