Oh look, the machine specifically designed to roast people alive makes people feel like they're being roasted alive, 10/10 no notes

Can't have rheumatism, if you're dead. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Treats obesity and hay fever. Heart failure and flat feet.
Sounds legit.

I mean, once you're cooked, none of these is still an issue

if only the leeches could take the heat, they’d have covered all the bases.

Reminds me of a chiropractor brochure

Interestingly, cryotherapy exists too you know. Even the extreme variant corresponding to this one exists. You just put people into a -100 °C freezer for a while.

People who need a little ice in their hot coffee vs the freaks that ask for it extra hot and sip it immediately
Darkenfolk@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 14d
We have different perspectives on what freaks are it seems.
I mean, ice in your coffee? What kind of degenerate does that?! What's wrong with waiting a couple of minutes?
Assassassin@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 4 pts · 14d
Oh, a heater in the wild. Iced coffee supremacy! You know who likes it hot? Satan, that's who.
Follow Jesus, ice that brew.

From an edmonton newspaper
finallymadeanaccount@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 14d
That's 260 degrees Celsius. Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit) at sea level.
From the Wikipedia page on the World Sauna Championships, which exposed people to temperatures far lower than the above-advertised '500 Degrees Fahrenheit'.
NewNewAugustEast@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 14d
You would think, but no. It was Fahrenheit. They rarely (if ever) went to 500 F though.
Look at the newspaper article: https://lemmy.zip/post/68972958/28002374 edmonton was canada, and they didnt start using metric for temp until the 70's I think.
Also the wikipedia article says this as well. Its F!
