The soap was getting small and just rotated in the tub, lathering was hard. So I broke it into pieces but that was a mess. Now I tried getting the smallest pieces and kind of bowl lathering them in the tub. It was a disaster. Worst lather ever, maybe. Now I smashes it all back together into the tub.

3 passes. Face lather. Good shave.

Another day of enjoying Midnight Stag. I believe that I can trace the edge wear I'm seeing to very thin edge geometry. I think that the steel does not have enough material at the edge to support the level of refinement I created when I honed it.

Wow. As much as I've enjoyed the Polsilver the past few days, Wilkinson might be even better. And they're not made in Russia! And they're still available at reasonable prices.

These are my go-to travel blades if I'm checking a bag or traveling by car. They come in plastic dispensers so I can safely take the used blades home with me.
